[US10:25] One week to kickoff

Hey US!

Just a reminder that we have one week (and a day) until our kickoff event,
the tailgate party, on Saturday, August 25th.  Festivities will begin at
6:00 p.m. in the church parking lot, so we hope to see you there.  We'll
have outdoor fun galore!  The ministry will take care of the burgers, brats
and buns, you bring drinks and sides.  Look for an announcement both in the
bulletin and on the screens this week (and direct any new folks to that).
Be sure to represent your favorite football team (college or professional).

In other news, we are also just over a week away from the rebirth of Oasis.
Covenant is now targetting seekers, specifically college students, with this
new service.  However, we are still looking for involvement in this
discussion based service from everyone.  Interested in more information?
Check out the announcements this week at church, and be watching the email.

I hope that you all have a great weekend (I'm out for a conference).  I look
forward to seeing you all soon after I return.
