[US10:25] Lunch, Movies and Paint

Hey US!

I hope that this week has been a great one for all of you.  As the snow is
falling, and the work week is coming to a close, I wanted to take the chance
to update you on the latest activities going on for US.

This Sunday, we will be gathering for lunch after the second service.
Please come to the back of the sanctuary after service to connect up.  While
we decide where we will be eating, we also have a chance to help out the O2
ministry.  Before we leave the church, we will be taking down the tables in
Gathering Place 1 (where the band sets up for O2).  There are very few that
we have to take down, but but many hands will make quick work.  Plus, it
always takes a while to decide where we'll be eating, so no additional time
is needed.  :-)

As a follow-up, O2 is back on this Sunday night.  While I won't be playing
the toaster this week, the worship and teaching will still be great.

Next Saturday (March 1st) is Progressive Movie Night.  We are watching
Ferris Bueller's Day Off and Robin Hood Men in Tights.  We start at the
retreat center between 6:30 and 7:00 p.m., showtime of movie number 1 being
at 7.  We'll then head to Josh and Susan Hiatt's house for the last part of
the first movie, and the first part of the second.  We finish the evening by
heading to my house to wrap up the last movie.  Please bring snacks and
drinks to share.  If you have themed snacks for one of the movies, that's
always a bonus, and if anyone comes in costume, that would be great too!
