Good morning everyone,

I pray that each of you is having a great summer.  I want to take a moment
to share a great service opportunity with you.  Most of you are familiar
with the Ridgeway Apartments and their situation which is taking place in
Lafayette right now.  The occupants of this complex must leave their homes
and move so the facility can be raised or remodeled.  Mark Bleyer, a
Covenant Session Elder has been contacted and there are elderly people who
need assistance moving from the complex to another apartment elsewhere.   We
see this as an opportunity for outreach to our community from Covenant and
would like to assist these folks in making this move.



I would ask you to mark your calendar to hold the morning of July 12th
(Saturday), from 9 AM to 12 noon and come help three elderly people make the
move to a different home.  This is a true outreach and would be a tremendous
gift to the individuals impacted by this requirement to leave their homes.
If you can find it in your heart and schedule to provide the time to serve
it would be blessing.



The plan is to meet at Covenant at 9:00 AM in the front parking lot and go
over to the Ridgeway complex and help in the move.    In order to know what
type of turnout can be expected, would you please call Mark Bleyer and let
him know that you will be able to serve on Saturday, July 12th.  His number
is 491-9001.  If you have additional questions, Mark is the Covenant
coordinator and can answer them for you.  Thank you for considering this
opportunity to provide God's helping hand to others.
