[US10:25] Lunch and Announcements

Hey US!

Just a friendly reminder that we are having lunch after church this Sunday.
I hope that many of you can make it.  Meet in the back of the sanctuary
after service, and we'll decide from there.  Also, don't forget PAINTBALL!!
Next Saturday, March 15th.  Contact Jeff if you have any questions (

As a side note, there is no O2 service this week.  We are taking this Sunday
off to coincide with Purdue's spring break.  However, we'll be back on next
Sunday, so I hope that you'll make it back then.

As an additional note, we have several services for Holy week, so here's the
list

Palm Sunday (Sunday, March 16th) - Our Sunday morning services will be
filled with shouts of "Hosanna" and palm branches and more.  Plan to come to
either the 9:00 a.m. or 10:45 a.m. service.  These services kick off our
Holy week celebration, marking Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem.

O2 (Sunday, March 16th) - We resume O2 following Purdue's spring break.
Come back for some great food, fellowship, and worship.  Dinner at 6:30,
service at 7:00.

Maundy Thursday (Thursday, March 20th) - At this service, we celebrate the
last supper with communion.  Service begins at 7:00 p.m.


Good Friday Noon Service (Friday, March 21st) - This service is a
combination of scripture meditation and song.  This is a 45 minute service.
We also have a time of nailing sins to the cross.  It is a very powerful
reminder of the sacrifices of Jesus.  This is a great use of your lunch
hour, if you can make it (come as you can if your schedule makes things a
bit tight).

Good Friday Evening Service - This choir-led service begins at 7:00 p.m.,
detailing the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.  It will be a powerful night of
drama, music, and teaching.

Easter Sunrise Service (Sunday, March 23rd) - HE IS RISEN INDEED!!!!  This
7:00 a.m. service is a bit more contemporary in flavor, and will start off
your Easter morning in a great way (and there's breakfast downstairs
afterwards).  This service is an hour long, contrary to the other services.

Easter Services - We have our 9:00 and 10:45 a.m. services as usual.
Worship will include a brass ensemble in addition to the great worship music
of Easter.  (You can come early and have breakfast before the 9:00 a.m.
service.
