[US10:25] Prayer Request

Greetings all,

Could you pray for a 2nd grader and his family here at Lafayette Christian School?

On Monday it was discovered that he, A.J.,  has a bleeding, malignent brain tumor after being brought to the emergency room here in Lafayette. He was Lifelined to Riley Children's Hospital in Indianapolis where on Tuesday they did some surgery to relieve some pressure on his brain. Tomorrow he will being having surgery to remove the tumor. From what I hear, it is in a bad location. There is the potential he may not make it through the surgery. If he does, the recovery time could take 3 months.

A.J.'s brother is in my 6th grade homeroom here at LCS. Pray that we will know how to support him and the family in this hard time.

Ironically, our class devotions recently have been from Ravi Zacharias' Jesus Among Other Gods. The chapter we were on was called, "Is God Responsible for my Pain?" The chapter is based off Jesus' healing of the blind man. Jesus said, "This man's blindness happened so that the work of God might be displayed in his life." May God's work be shown here.
